Each year at the Ohio State Fair, breeders from across Ohio compete to see who can select the best animals at birth and develop them into successful milking cattle. The Ayrshire two-year-old Futurity is held annually.

The Board of Directors have elected to make the following changes to the futurity payment schedule as of January 31, 2016:

1. A) First and second payments will be due January 1 of each year
2. B) Third payments and late payments are now due on June 20, at the same time as State Fair entries.

Payouts are $750 for first place, with floating percentages based on the number of entries exhibited in the Ohio State Fair Futurity each year.

As a reminder, any animal entered in the Futurity MUST be exhibited in the Futurity, not a two-year-old class.
